Ok, here’s a better description about my Dark Knight Rises t-shirt for Design by Humans’ contest, you can vote for it by clicking the image.
Just so there’s no confusion, this is one t-shirt. During the day, we see a destroyed and grungy representation of batman’s mask , the legend has ended. But at night, the glow in the dark layer is revealed, we see batman’s face clearly, the Dark Knight rises. For the layer that’s visible during the day I wanted to keep it reminiscent of the way the movie is branded. I enjoy the poster designs Ignition Creative made, and I thought it’d be appropriate to make a design that goes with the brand.
For my special topics project I decided to do all the promotional material for The Fencing Knights at UCF. It kills two birds with one stone since I’m President and I usually do their graphics anyway, so I might as well go all out and get graded for it, though that’s not to say it’s something the President usually does, I just do ‘cause it’s fun.
This poster is one of 3 representing the 3 different weapon styles. This is Saber (my preference.) The other posters are nearly identical, just different weapons and composition of effects.
Can’t wait to get this up on the Behance / Prosite. My final is the 25th!
